Luciferase is widely used as a reporter gene for the study of gene expression and cell physiology of eukaryotic organisms. It is suitable for optimization of transfections, for the study of receptor activity, function of transcription factors, intracellular signaling pathways, post-transcription mRNA modifications or protein folding.

Lumik, the reagent for luciferase activity measuring, is distinguished by high signal stability and intensity. Lumik standardization is performed using the luciferase gene isolated from the firefly Photinus pyralis.

Terms of delivery

Lumik is dispatched by post on dry ice within 10 working days upon receipt of your purchase order. Technical manual is also included in the shipment.

Upon delivery, it is recommended to store Lumik at -70 °C. Upon respecting this storage temperature, the warranty period of 12 months is guaranteed.
