Expression Systems for the Production of Recombinant Proteins

We provide complete development of prokaryotic and eukaryotic expression systems for stable production of any recombinant peptides and proteins.

Upon contractual-based assignment or project-based cooperation, we provide:

• Bioinformatic preparation (transcription variant analysis, prediction of post-translational modifications or antigen domains etc.)
• Molecular-biological services (preparation of the cDNA library, molecular cloning, selection and preparation of a suitable production plasmid and expression system)
• Production of recombinant proteins (qualitative and quantitative verification of the production, selection of the clones with the highest production)
• Testing of the recombinant protein stability

GENERI BIOTECH specializes in production of proteins with more complex post-translational modifications in mammalian expression systems. Until present, we have succeeded in producing, for example, the human sex hormone-binding globulin (SHBG), neuron-specific enolase (NSE) or immunoreactive trypsin (IRT). These proteins have been successfully implemented in EIA sets of Immunotech a.s., the Beckman Coulter company.
