Custom Cloning

We provide preparation of plasmid constructs according to the customer's requirements, ranging from simple gene recloning from one plasmid to another to more complex cloning that incorporates multiple steps. The possibility to design the cloning scheme is also offered as part of this service. It is also possible to order individual cloning steps separately, for example, amplification and isolation of the plasmids and plasmid sequencing.

Prices

The final price and delivery term depend on the assignment. The customer shall receive the price quotation and delivery term within 5 working days upon the purchase order receipt. Price calculation is shown herein for three model cases to provide a better idea.

Delivery terms

The customer obtains the plasmid in the concentration and purity that corresponds to the midiprep format. All necessary information is shown in the package leaflet that is shipped together with the plasmid construct.

Requirements for the materials

Plasmids (e.g. plasmid containing the insert) provided eventually by the customer should meet the following parameters^1,2:

• Minimum concentration of every plasmid 100 ng/µl
• Minimum purity (A260/A280) at least
• Minimum quantity of every plasmid 10 µg

¹ If the plasmids do not meet the given conditions (for example, insufficient concentration, purity), we offer the possibility to perform amplification of the given plasmid in the bacterial culture and its subsequent isolation at GENERI BIOTECH. This service is not included in the price of the model cases mentioned.
