Human Recombinant Proteins

Currently, GENERI BIOTECH s.r.o. is finishing development of production of selected human recombinant proteins with complex post-translation modifications. These proteins are implemented into immunodiagnostic kits of the company IMMUNOTECH a.s. (the Beckman Coulter company) where they replace native proteins isolated from clinical materials. Development of the production systems for these proteins has been supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic. GENERI BIOTECH has been engaged in research in the field of recombinant protein production since 1999. The first produced proteins included enzymatic active proteins falling among cytochromes P450. From the beginning, the research has been narrowly focused on proteins with complex post-translation modifications and their production in eukaryotic cellular systems.
