Sets to Detect the Swine Flu Virus

In respect of the threatening pandemic of the flu A/H1N1 (the so called swine flu), GENERI BIOTECH s.r.o. offers sets of primers and probes for high-sensitivity detection using real-time PCR (qPCR). The sets were CDC designed and released based on the so called Emergency Use Authorization (CDC REF.#I-007-05)*.

* Oligonucleotides and probes are supplied based on a purchase order of custom synthesis, and as such, their use is restricted for research purposes (RUO - Research Use Only). It is also recommended to follow resources of information about A/H1N1 virus research in respect of possible data updates (for example, updates of primer sequences and probes). Although the sets are recommended by WHO as well as CDC for quick detection of the A/H1N1 type flu virus, these are not validated sets and their releasing and recommendations for use are driven by the non-existence of validated kits to detect the A/H1N1 type flu virus and by the worldwide epidemiological situation. GENERI BIOTECH s.r.o. thus cannot provide any guarantee and provides no guarantee for results of tests done using the supplied sets of the primers and probes.
