Oligos supplied on arrayDescription of productOligonucleotides on Array are mostly intended for instrumental applications with consumption of high number of oligos, such as anchoring onto microarrays or any automated methods where manipulations with many in-tube oligos would be laborious. The output is a standard 96-well array with dry oligonucleotides whose sequences and locations on the array have been defined by customers when ordered. The volume of the well (1 mL) enables the oligo to be ordinarily dissolved. The molar amounts of the oligos in the wells are either unadjusted (they differ among the wells), or unified to one equimolar value (then it is possible do dissolve all the oligos by even volume of water or buffer). As synthesis of the ordered oligos is parallelly performed, certain limitations for lengths of synthesized oligos are necessary to be followed (to ensure high quality of synthesis). Quality of the synthesis might also be decreased when some positions are omitted. All the limitations of the synthesis are in favor of high-quality oligos in all positions of the array. Delivery conditions- Oligos are synthesized within B delivery term on a scale of 40 nmol and the real yield is +/- 30%
- Oligos are purified by standard means
- When an equimolar array is ordered, the amount af all oligos on the array is unified to an even value (in the range of 28-45 nmols)
- Oligos on an array are supplied dry in 1 mL wells
- Together with a supplied array is an original order file with an ID of the array and a molar amount of the oligos
- Oligos on an array are not implemented into the cumulative consumption of the customer
Orders- Oligos can be ordered only on the HORIZONTAL
or VERTICAL Excel form - The HORIZONTAL filling type means that the assigned sequences are placed on the array horizontally, i.e. by lines
- The VERICAL filling type means that the assigned sequences are placed on the array vertically, i.e. by columns
Limitation for synthesis of oligos supplied on array
- If the array is not completely full then it can only be unfilled at the end of the filling, which means that behind an empty position another sequence cannot be implemented (examples shown here
) - Oligos cannot comprise degeneration at 3´ end
- In marked parts of the array (marked in colour) the length of the shortest and longest oligo cannot differ by more than 5 bases (automatically checked in the order form)
