Molecular services represent a platform for GENERI BIOTECH to apply the results of its own research. Roughly two thirds of the company are focused on research and development while one of the major aims is to transfer the results of our own research to the form of commercial products. Personnel connection between research and development and molecular services provides a guarantee of expert and professional customer support that corresponds to the present state of technology and knowledge. Established methods are provided to the specialized public above all as part of the molecular services, and products and services are offered, innovated by means of our own research and development.

Quantitative PCR is the pivotal point of molecular services. Using real-time PCR (and DNA chips), we are able to quantify almost any transcript with very high reliability. Out of other services, the following ones are offered as standard: Sequencing, molecular cloning, services related to cell cultures (for example, cytotoxicity testing or mycoplasma detection). Complex services in the form of custom-made research are also offered to users from the research sphere. For example, such services are provided in the form of gene expression quantification; in such a case, the customer supplies samples with the list of genes and obtains results in the publication quality or in the form of a complex experiment (for example, development of genetically modified cell lines). In connection with our long-term experience with real-time PCR, we have succeeded in developing a new type of internal positive controls with minimized effect on the sensitivity of the primary system or modified hydrolyzation probes with increased sensitivity and higher fluorescence growth, to provide an example.
