The first time frame - the short-term researchProjects within this time frame serve rather as technology transfers. Therefore, they are mostly not fi nanced from public funds. Our obvious goal is always to transform research results into commercial products or services. Predominantly, we offer established methods for specialists, but we also provide products or services innovated by means of our own research and development. Outputs of these activities are offered via molecular services. The core of molecular services is represented by gene expression quantifi cation. We are able to quantify almost any transcript very reliably by means of real-time PCR (or DNA arrays). As far as our other standard services are concerned, we offer sequencing, molecular cloning, design of DNA/RNA quantification or detection systems, our own gene expression quantification assays, and complex experiments, e.g. development of genetically modified cell lines. We managed to develop a new type of internal positive controls with minimized impact on the primary system sensitivity for the detection of specifi c sequences by means of real-time PCR or modified hydrolyzing probes with enhanced sensitivity and higher fl uorescence increase. We offer quantification sets for almost any gene in verified quality for a very reasonable price.
