We believe that one product specialist for our IVD kits is sufficient enough to service potential customers in Oman. This is consistent with our experience in both the Czech and Slovak markets.
Our experience suggests that our IVD products tend to be more salable in countries with a higher GDP.
We introduced our first IVD product into the Czech market in 2013. We have managed to succeed in a market sector where there was seemingly no longer a gap for additional IVD offerings. At present, our genetic IVD kits are considered “best in class” in the Czech market.
CE IVD kits: GENERI BIOTECH´s story
GENERI BIOTECH was established in 1995.
In 2010, after a 15 year period where we were focused on manufacture of oligonucleotides, services in molecular genetics and research projects, we decided to change the direction of the company.
Our decision was clear. Our task was to concentrate on the development and production of diagnostic kits for human medicine and to use the experience we had gained during the previous 15 years to the maximum.
We began with real-time PCR kits for detection of thrombophilic mutations. The first products of ours were FII and FV detection kits. After an intensive effort, we completed a full line of “trombophilic kits” consisting of 10 kits.
Our users found our kits to work very well, with features more friendly and easier to use than comparable products of other producers. Users of our IVD products appreciate that they are robust, user-friendly, and provide reliable results.
Our portfolio of products continues to grow step by step. In our R&D, we are fully engaged in the development of new IVD products. Over the last few years we have developed sophisticated products mainly in the area of oncological diagnostics. An example of this is our BCR-ABL1 product line which has caught the attention of both, end-users and distributors.
We have demonstrated that our products are well accepted and salable in every market provided that a vendor pays attention to them – when they have a specialist in molecular biology who works properly with potential customers on daily basis. We give our distributors and business partners whatever type of support is required for them to be successful and acquire new clients.
