The system of single-labeled probes (also called FRET probes - Fluorescence Resonance Energy Transfer) consists of a pair of probes, the former is labeled with donor fluorophore (3´FAM) at the 3 ́ end, the latter is labeled with acceptor fluorophore (5´CFR 610 or 635) at the 5 ́ end. The probes are designed to hybridize to the PCR target adjacent to each other. The probes are HPLC purified (no additional fee).
