Human Cell Line Authentication on LabCard
Cell line authentication on LabCard is provided in the same way as for product Authentication of cell lines. It differs by considerably simplified logistics: a user places a drop of the sample to be tested on a LabCard, he/she lets it dry and ships it to our lab by usual mail at room temperature using the envelope enclosed.
We provide LabCards for 1, 5 or 20 tests, respectively. By purchasing the product the tests are automatically prepaid.
User fills in all the data about the cell line to be tested on-line and she/he obtains the result on-line. The only non-on-line process is sending the LabCard.
Purpose of the service
Requirements for a material to be tested
Customer provides us either with an extracted genomic DNA or a yielded cell suspension. Concentration of gDNA isolate applied to LabCard = 200 ng/µl, volume 60 µl or cell suspension containing 1×107 cells/ml, volume 60 µl.
Output of the test
We provide you a results report in English.
Sample delivery
LabCards with samples should be shipped as soon as possible. No special conditions are required for shipping. LabCards should be sent as a registered letter.

Authentication of cell lines
Using a forensic kit, selected autosomal polymorphisms are amplified in a multiplex PCR. The polymorphic fragments of DNA are then separated in capillary electrophoresis. The same method is applied as well in forensic testing.
Most current oncolytic viruses are engineered for selective recognition of cancer cell, although there are naturally occurring examples (e.g. reovirus), number of different viruses are used in clinical trials (adenovirus, vaccinia, etc.).
PCR users have sometimes trouble with their real-time PCR experiments. Their real-time PCR curves give no signal or they have complication with signal in negative control. We will try to help users with the main reasons of your PCR troubles and how to solve them.
