gb OneStep IPC Elite RT-qPCR Kit
gb OneStep IPC Elite RT-qPCR Kit contains hot-start Taq DNA polymerase, reaction buffer, dNTP, MgCl2 and M-MuLV reverse transcriptase and internal positive control (IPC). The IPC contained in the Master Mix is used to check the correctness of the PCR, allowing the user to distinguish a sample that appears to be negative due to poorly passed PCR, from a truly negative sample.
Recommended use
gb OneStep IPC Elite RT-qPCR Kit is intended for high sensitivity reverse transcription (RT) and real-time PCR (qPCR) performed in one step (in one reaction), i.e.onestep RT-qPCR. No additional instrumentation is required; the onestep RT-qPCR analysis can be performed directly on any real-time PCR cycler simply by adding a thermal step for reverse transcription prior to a PCR amplification.
The IPC signal is detected in the HEX / JOE / VIC fluorescence channel. gb OneStep IPC RT-qPCR Kit does not contain any passive reference dye, it can be added to the reaction mixture separately (view Passive Reference Dye, Cat. No. 3010 – on request).
Parameters of the product
- Kit consists of 2 vials (OneStep IPC Buffer and OneStep IPC Enzyme). After mixing the 2 vials together you will get a complete OneStep IPC Master Mix.
- gb OneStep IPC Elite RT-qPCR Kit is 2x concentrated and is sufficient for 50/500 reactions of 20 µl.
